Manufaktuuri kvartali orienteerumine 29.04-31.05 ENG

Manufaktuuri kvartal, Hepsor, and Seiklusministeerium invite you to a fun, family-friendly adventure orienteering event in the Manufactory Quarter located in Northern Tallinn.

The adventure trail is open from Wednesday, April 29 until May 31. Each team can choose their own start and finish locations, as long as they remain within the boundaries of the Manufaktuuri kvartal. The task for participants is to find checkpoints hidden along the route. A map, photos, and questions in the app will help you locate them.

There are 30 exciting checkpoints on the course, some marked on the adventure map and others shown as photos. Each checkpoint is worth three points. An incorrect answer results in a deduction of three points.

Participation in the adventure is completely free!

The trail is approximately 2 km long, and the time limit is 1 hour. If you exceed the time limit, one point will be deducted from your team’s score for each extra minute. You can mark your start and finish points anywhere suitable on the map. The questions and checkpoint locations become visible in the app after you start the adventure.

The leaderboard will be updated continuously. The adventure ranking is symbolic and no prizes will be awarded based on it. Surprise prizes will be drawn among all those who send photos from the trail.

Required equipment: good mood, weather-appropriate clothing, a reliable flashlight or headlamp (if participating in the dark), and a smartphone to record checkpoints. The adventure can be completed using both Android and iPhone devices.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• You can complete the adventure trail only once after pressing start.
• Searching for answers to the questions before starting the adventure is not allowed.
• Using a car, motorcycle, electric vehicle, or public transport is prohibited.
• You may log into the adventure app only with the team name used during registration or a team member’s full name.
• The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the content and rules of the adventure.

For recording checkpoints, we use the adventure app called Nutilogi. The app works on both Android and iPhone devices and can be found in the Play Store and App Store.

HOW TO USE THE ADVENTURE APP

1. Download the app to your phone.
2. Install the adventure app Nutilogi (allow all requested permissions).
3. Open the app. On first use, identify yourself via your Google account or phone.
4. Select the appropriate adventure from the list: Manufaktuuri seiklus.
5. Enter your team name and join.
6. You will see a list of checkpoints on the screen.
7. When you reach a checkpoint, select it from the list and choose the correct answer.
8. To confirm the checkpoint, slide the slider at the top of the screen from left to right. On iPhone, select the correct answer and then slide it from left to right.
9. The checkpoint is now recorded.
10. To finish, select Finish from the menu and choose the letter F. Your time will then be locked automatically.
